Before igniting, check that your hose is connected properly to the oven and there are no leaks. Do not look directly into the oven and stand at least 3 feet away from the opening when lighting.

The manual ignition method:

1. To manually ignite the main torch, look for a teardrop cover at the back of the oven. Use a long-nosed BBQ lighter.

2. To manually ignite the bottom burner, look for an oval cutout on the bottom of the oven. Use a long-nosed BBQ lighter.
